Badminton. and MORE Badminton. And a little soccer & basketball too.
It was a reli amusing training today. i spent longer time playing basketball n soccer n running arnd in the basketball court than i did playing badminton. and all this during the badminton training itself. well at least its some way of spending my time, instead of sleeping on the floor or stage, or staring blankly into space, or watching pple play (already saturated with what i can already learn from them...)
But seriously, for the sake of VJ, im glad lar.. its more impt the 'key' players are trained. n even more impt that they perform, especially since we share the worst luck among the four schools that are below RJ in our group.
Meridian, Catholic, HwaChong and Victoria.
Common? in the sense tt we're all below RJ in that group. definitely by right MJ is the strongest. But they lost to CJ. its reli scary when the so-termed 3rd place team (MJ) can fight to 2-3 with RJ.
And even HCI, despite being prolly the bottom in the group, (after they lost to VJ so unluckily), prolly will qualify for the quarters if they had had the slight bit of luck NOT to be drawn in our group. i.e. by my seeding at least, schs tt shld be seeded 1,4,5,6,7 form one group. luck of the draw i guess...
or severe lack of it.
Anw, we beat HCI by the narrowest of margins, tho perhaps it shld hv been wider. we lost 2 matches we shld hv won, and won 1 we shld hv lost. odd. tt reli nvr happened back in andss. but then, i think it was a tad less competitive.
enough abt badminton lar. my tournament n involvement in badminton, at least for this year, is quite likely to end soon.
tho i hope not...
okay i thik i shld sleep already
tmr got badminton (fun) early on.. heex
ciaoz~~
